Research focus areas

The Faculty’s science and research profile is based around work centring around the Forest – Wood – Environment nexus and stems from the Faculty’s long-term Scheme. Other key elements underpinning FEVT’s scientific research profile are the Faculty’s know-how, staff opportunities and its resource and technical base.In terms of content, the Faculty’s research activeties relate mainly to developing and assessing the quality of forest and wood-processing machines, improving resource and energy efficiencies (long-term renewables, biomass) and quality management in manufacturing companies.
