1. The only technically oriented faculty in engineering and automotive in the region

  • We are the only technically oriented faculty in the field of engineering and automotive in a region with a rich tradition of focusing on developing and assessing the quality of environmental and manufacturing technology, in synergy with the control systems of these machines and equipment, reducing material and energy intensity, quality management of manufacturing enterprises.
  • The need for technical practice in the region which is known for the development of the automotive, engineering, metallurgy and armament industry, required the establishment of such a faculty.

2. Guaranteed applicability in practice

  • Graduates of our faculty have a great perspective to work in the field. They belong to highly qualified and are requested to labor market that can compete with graduates on an international scale as well.
  • The graduate get experience in job opportunities not only in agriculture, but also in the automotive, bioenergy, food industry, transportation, communal spheres, development, testing and certification of machinery, maintenance, servicing and sales techniques, and in a whole range of applications advanced methods and techniques for the design and development of components, modules and complete machinery and equipment in the field of environmental and manufacturing technology are applied.

 

6. Interface study with practice

  • Students apply their theoretical knowledge to various partner institutions and companies in a transregional field through practical exercises and project, bachelor and diploma theses.

 

7. Modern environment and individual approach

  • Built modern laboratories from the EU grand -Hall of Science and Experimental Workplaces (HSEW), equipped with modern 3D printers and scanners - RAPID PROTOTYPING; computer classrooms funded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports for prospective study programs at FEVT.

 

3. You get a scholarship

  • The student gets a motivation scholarship that students do not usually get at every faculty in Slovakia. This scholarship is based on the practicability of the graduate in the field. You will get a motivational scholarship only by studying at our faculty, regardless of the study results.

4.We are not only a school but also a certified training center

  • The faculty is not only a teaching institution but also a certified training centre in the field of quality, fluid mechanisms, safety and health protection at work, maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • The possibility of obtaining a certificate in the field

5.You will get professional skills in using COMPUTER AIDED technologies - CAD, CAE, CAM using professional high-end CAx technologies.

8. Study abroad

  • Due to your study stay, you have the opportunity to discover new countries, customs and find friends abroad.
  • Students can attend part of the study at partner universities abroad through mobility within the ERASMUS + and CEEPUS programs.

 

9. Student life

  • The opportunity to develop student life in extracurricular study activities
  • A varied active student life - a folklore ensemble of Poľana, built sports, gyms, a beautiful natural mountain environment around the historic royal town of Zvolen - Zvolen Castle, Pustý hrad castle; rich cultural life of the city - Zvolens` Castle Games, theater of J.G. Tajovsky, Academical Zvolen, winter sports in nearby ski resorts as well as summer activities in nearby lakes and thermal spas. Possibility to visit top sports events - hockey Tipsport League.
