The study program Production Engineering is a postgraduate scientific and educational programme. The PhD studies are focused on research activities within the area of manufacturing technology, especially on scientific analysis of the development and design of processing machines, robotic and operative systems of machines and equipment, etc. The study contents include scientific experiments within the theory of mathematical analysis, probability theory, mathematical statistics, theory of systems, verification of computerized models, analysis of mechatronics systems and neuron networks, theory of control systems, fuzzy logic, etc. The PhD programme is available both full (3 years) and part time (4 years).
